As the President and Founder of The ALG Group, A.J.’s goal is to create an environment beyond accounting, taxes, and numbers. A.J. focuses on providing a customer experience where our client’s feel valued and appreciated.
His unique combination of skills, discipline, patience, and persistence has given him an advantage in problem solving and negotiation skills. His drive to solve complex financial problems and customize workable tax solutions, results in our clients receiving the best possible outcomes.
A.J. earned his Masters of Business Administration and Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, both with honors, at Michigan State University. Before becoming a C.P.A., he worked as an Advanced Powertrain Account Manager at Motorola/Freescale Semiconductor, managing an $80 million automotive powertrain account. His unique ability to analyze customer needs, and his role in multimillion dollar negotiations for products designed for companies such as Ford, GM, Chrysler, and Honda, enabled a “full-solution” approach to product development, that translates to his approach with clients today.
A.J. and his wife, Naomi, live with their three children in Haslett, MI. They stay busy with soccer games, basketball games, school events, and A.J. himself loves playing in a competitive soccer league. He brings the same passion to his profession, driving to deliver the best quality service tailored to the needs of each client.
