Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in planning and performing external audits and reviews in accordance with firm and client requirements.
• Execute audit procedures following established guidelines, standards, and firm policies.
• Prepare, organize, and index workpapers consistent with ALG Group’s Standard Operating Procedures.
• Apply audit, accounting, and tax principles to client engagements, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Support senior accountants and partners on attest and accounting projects.
• Maintain professionalism in all client communications and interactions.
• Perform thorough self-review of all work prior to submission.
• Complete accurate data entry and assist with administrative tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

• CPA , CPA candidate preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Business Administration.
• 3–5 years of audit and accounting experience.
• Strong understanding of audit and accounting standards.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Adobe, and the ability to adapt to new software and evolving technology.
• Experience with QuickBooks and standard accounting platforms.
• Task driven and focused, with the ability to manage work independently and efficiently.
• Detail oriented and highly organized, with respect for established processes.
• Strong analytical thinking skills, able to evaluate complex accounting and audit issues and develop thoughtful recommendations and action plans.
• Adaptable and patient, able to pivot when priorities shift.
• Strong communication skills and a willingness to ask questions to ensure clarity and accuracy.
• Motivated to build long-term relationships with clients.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with peers and staff at all levels.
