Caleb is a Senior Auditor at The ALG Group with more than 5 years of experience in audit and accounting services. He began his career with the Michigan Gaming Control Board
(MGCB) conducting audit work to ensure gaming enterprise compliance with Tribal-State compacts. He proceeded to work in public accounting focusing on local
governments, school districts, and nonprofit entities. Additionally, a portion of this time was spent working on internal control consultative work for small religious organizations and conducting agreed upon procedure work for State government (MI). Further expanding his knowledge of for-profit environments, Caleb worked for a public company in the greater Lansing region. He began as a senior accountant conducting treasury related month-end closing procedures and then continued as a senior internal auditor, applying his skills to aid in SOX compliance and IT related operational audits.
Caleb holds a Master of Accountancy (MAcc) from Davenport University and a B.S. in
Accountancy & Computer Information Systems from Ferris State University. He is both a Certified Public Accountant (2018) and a Certified Fraud Examiner (2019).
Caleb has a passion for identifying and aiding in the implementation of process
improvements. As a part of this work, developing strong client relationships and
ensuring that all needs are met is paramount. Outside of work, Caleb enjoys playing
music, hunting, fishing, and spending time with his family. A committed lifelong learner,
Caleb enjoys a challenge and continually works towards furthering his progression as a
teammate, professional, and individual.
