Cedric Dunbar II is a dedicated and detail-oriented Junior Staff Accountant with a strong foundation in accounting principles and financial reporting. Having recently earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Davenport University and now on his way to becoming a Certified Public Accountant, Cedric brings a fresh perspective and enthusiasm to the team.
Prior to joining The ALG Group, Cedric worked for the City of East Lansing’s Treasury Office, where he honed his skills in bookkeeping, reconciling & processing income and property tax payments, along with providing excellent service towards East Lansing’s residence and businesses. Beyond working for the City of East Lansing, Cedric has held multiple accounting positions while in school as Accounting Clerk, Accounts Payable Coordinator, Finance Assistant, etc. Known for his strong analytical abilities and effective communication skills, Cedric is dedicated to contributing to the team’s success and is eager to grow and develop within the field of accounting.
Outside of work, Cedric enjoys playing with his single dog “Ace”, spending time with friends and family, along with watching his favorite sports teams, which helps to balance his professional and personal life.
